About Us Raising the Standard in Insulation & Coatings

509 Spray Foam started the way a lot of great trades do — out of frustration. As builders, we couldn’t find anyone to install spray foam properly. Every job felt rushed, uneven, or half-done. So we stopped hiring it out and started doing it ourselves.

Understand Your Insulation Options

We're Builders, Not Salespeople

As contractors first, we know what it’s like to chase subs, deal with callbacks, and settle for “good enough.” That’s never been our style. We launched 509 Spray Foam to raise the bar — with insulation that seals tight, coatings that last, and a team that actually cares how the job turns out.

We treat every job like it’s our own—because we know what it’s like to be on the other side of that sub list.

  • Our Foam Seals, Strengthens, and Lasts

Closed-cell spray foam doesn’t just insulate—it adds structure, blocks moisture, and holds up for decades.

  • Every Detail Matters

We don’t walk away from a messy job. Clean lines, even application, and a finished product we’re proud of.

  • We Stick to the Schedule

We show up, get it done right, and don’t slow down the rest of your build.

  • Full-Service Protection

From spray foam to fireproofing to roof coatings, we offer smart solutions that work together.

Questions About Spray Foam?

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does spray foam insulation last?

When it’s done right and stays dry, closed-cell spray foam can last for the lifetime of your building — no sagging, no settling.

Will it help keep my crawl space or basement dry?

Yes! Closed-cell foam is a moisture and vapor barrier, so it helps block out water and keep mold at bay.

What’s the difference between open-cell and closed-cell foam?

Open-cell is softer and cheaper, but doesn’t seal or strengthen as well. We use closed-cell because it seals better, adds structural support, and lasts longer.

Can it help with noise too?

Definitely — spray foam can help reduce sound transfer between rooms or from outside.

Is spray foam really worth the investment?

For most projects, absolutely. It’s more expensive up front, but it’s one of the few upgrades that pays for itself over time with energy savings and lower maintenance.

How soon can I get back in after install?

Most jobs are good to go within a day or so. We’ll talk you through any safety or ventilation needs before we start.
